Hard carry supports?
Im looking to buy a supp that can carry a game really well. Not with kills, ya'll know what i mean though. Was thinking braum. Yes or nah?

Janna.
idk how she hasn't been noted in the eight hours your post has been up.
You can save the stupid and effectively gank the stupid as well. People are reallllly stupid up until like Platinum. At least from my adventures up to Gold IV they were. Close enough! :P
my main man
Malz is risky because he relies on ending the game earlier than the above champions.
Won't be carrying with traditional supports, sorry though. Don't steal CS and try not to ks if possible, but you can only carry out of support if your champion is made to do so. Unless of course your team is decent, but I'm thinking that you're not running on the assumption. Train hard and good luck.
I recently had to do just that as Leona support.
Just continue to ward and start building toward your sub class (Tank or AP carry, typically). If you have to take a kill, do it, just don't go overboard unless everyone else on your team is just incompetent.

He can save his allies from certain death, set up kills, front line, be an ADC butt buddy, win team fights by pressing R, tank towers, solo kill towers with his passive, is countered by only 1 other support named Morgana, and he is outrageous.
I recently started playing ranked so this is a rather small sample size, but here https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=alienprimate
I have yet to lose a ranked game when my ADC builds
. With hurricane ADC's, I'm 9-0 and with no hurricane ADC's I'm 1-3. With those statistics, I'm pretty much going to win if my ADC is

At your rank, Sona is a BEAAAAASSSSTTTTT. She can make up for a lot of mistakes with her heal and still does a bit of damage to squishys on her own. Without taking play rate into accont, Sona is currently the support with the highest win-rate by nearly an entire percentage point.
Braum is not so good for carrying because he is one of the most team reliant supports. If your team gets behind, you are useless unless you can encourage your team to start making better decisions. He is brutally good with a decent team though because he is one of the only supports that can skirmish and still be meaningful after using all of his abilities.
Uh, not to crash the party on Sona (except I am), but...
She's #3 in plat+ right now in terms of win rate. So yeah.
Sona is actually a really great pick at all elos. I play a crap-load of Taric, myself, but he's a more nuanced pick, imo. Sona is easier to learn and is plenty strong. I do recommend looking at this link for builds: https://na.op.gg/champion/sona/statistics/support
Be careful with cherry-picking data, but using sites like this intelligently can be super super helpful. This site uses plat+ games only for stats, but imo that's how you know what's really good, instead of what's just good for pub-stomping. You can carry with builds like this.
Games get carried by damage more than utility. Anything with a lot of damage that can contribute to winning team fights by providing a damage nuke is good. This is why Brand support is pretty popular. A good brand ult, with the right build*, can destroy the enemy team in a team fight. Most Brands that I see fail do so because they build too much like a support rather than a 2nd AP carry or they use their ult as an initiation in a team fight where the enemy can either run away or cause it to only bounce once.
There is no "Hard carry support". However, there are several great pickups.
is ridiculously good to learn as on average, he is one of the best supports 90%+ of the time.(Though at this particular moment he isn't fantastic.)
is my support of choice. She is very powerful when paired with a team who knows how to work around objectives.
and
are fantastic when you are playing with an ADC you can trust.
Statistically speaking Sona and Janna are way up there in terms of win rate so they are basically the overall best supports to play. The other high win% supports are basically situational but ofc blitz is also really good if you learn him.
To all you guys who say Sona is X, Y, Z and therefore the conclusion is that she sucks, you are mistaken. Sona is good, that is a known fact so that should be your starting point. You start somewhere else and reach the conclusion that sona is bad, well we have a name for that in math it's called a contradiction and it basically means either your base assumptions are bad or your logic.
Alistar can get pretty hardcore, Braum's good too
But Bard's actually quite good at putting a team on their back
