I kinda miss seeing some champions, but not always because they are weak.
This is not a QQ Yas/Riven/Lee are everywhere post, it's more of a, "what about these champions" post.
Okay,

I honestly Have not seen basically any of these champions as of lately, what brought this on mostly is because I decided it would be fun to pick up Viktor. None of these champions are played all that much, and I probably missed more but that is besides the point. I really want to feel diversity in the game, because sometimes it just feels to repetitive. I can expect to see a lot of champions like:

Did I forget
? (I couldn't resist)
There are a handful of other champions too that you see occasionally, kinda in the middle zone, fun to play but maybe not to play a lot of.
I mean, most of the champions in LoL are really uniquely designed, generally have a really cool lore or engaging gameplay, maybe some don't look as good as others, but their gameplay more than makes up for it... So why do some of the most unique champions not get the action I want to see?
I want to go all "I know why" and then spit bullshit, but I know from working in a bike shop that people will try to assert there hypothesizes to a trained professional and you just have to take it, kindly say you'll take a look while knowing that they know absolutely nothing, so I won't.
So I want to ask, What makes champions have good play rates?
I mean, there are a ton of factors I PERSONALLY WEIGH when I choose who I'll play next: Are they strong? Are they interesting? Are they not stereotyped? Do they look cool? What does their power curve look like? Can I play the champ in multiple but viable roles? Do they have outplay potential? How often will I get frustrated playing them? How long can I stay interested in playing them? Are they hard enough to be respectable to play? Are they to hard and not worth the effort?(Can my macbook allow me to use them to their maximum potential?) How is there waveclear? Can they freeze If I lose lane? Can they take towers quickly? What about objective control? Mobility? Early game stability? Do they have an awesome skin? Are they unique?
Personally I put the most value in being underplayed, underused, interesting, and a medium skill level requirement, not too linear, but super satisfying to surprise an enemy, have to look good in game, or at least have a really nice skin splash art, and if I get bullied hard, is it possible for me to out scale late game. I don't know how the rest of you guys value it, but personally I would enjoy more diversity because repetition doesn't really make the game interesting, and I find that I often am the one really trying to make it more interesting, being positive and insane, playing not very meta champs, just kinda doing whatever to make it less about destroying the nexus and just trying to have fun.
I forgot the point of writing this post, and I don't expect anyone to actually pay attention at this point, but if you read this far, you deserve some tea and biscuits. Bravo sir/madam.
