Can we make "honorable opponent" prevent them from being demoted?

The demotion and series system is stupid enough alone, and I don't think many people like it, but when you add feeding teammates resulting in uncarryable games, it's no fun and not the slightest bit fair. I just faced a Graves and Bard who were carrying their crappy team. My bot lane and jungle fed them while I dominated top and counterjungled enough to get fed and carry. 3 people on my team and 3 on the enemy team ignored pings and advice, went in blind, fed, and other bronze activities.

It really sucks to see the enemy bot lane lose their series or even get demoted because of teammates that play like bots. Instead of having hate filled games where your teammates feed and lose so badly that you don't even have the will to go on, having a system where you could honor an opponent and lower their LP loss, prevent demotion, or prevent a series loss would encourage players to continue trying to carry and not contribute to toxicity.

This way those games where someone is 10/2/10 but they still lose because their teammates have bronze mentality, they aren't punished for playing so much better than their allies, they're rewarded because they have earned their higher elo or at least earned the right to not lose LP.

tl;dr Honorable Opponent should reduce or prevent lp loss, prevent an X for a series, or prevent demotion. You could even have 2 options. One honors the opponent without doing anything else, while the other uses a currency to reduce their LP loss or something else. You could get maybe 1 of these credits every 3 games or something like that, or require 3 honorable opponents given to you by the enemy team to receive the benefits.

I'm open for suggestions.

I say a better idea would be to allow a tribunal who examine games to decide which games was it honestly not a players fault. The system you suggested is far to easy to corrupt and I would prefer a paid individual profesional to look over my games, not a random unpaid troll.

Being honorable doesn't stop you from being garbage, if you are bad, you deserve to drop, lel.
