Personally, I really dislike how extreme they've made his design. Dichotomies like his are always unhealthy for the game and usually discouraged by Riot, but he's apparently the exception to that rule...

It might be an identity thing too, since he competes with and in being a grab-support. Either way, a niche that's not "insta-win or useless" is always better.
