"no support" he says after having 10% kill participation and feeding lane while I have 80% kill participation as an off-meta pick. This kid averages 9 deaths a game, has a 42% win rate IN LOW GOLD and he's on my team; on top of that in my promos??? Fucking love matchmaking.

That win/r is only for the past 20 games, he could just have an unlucky lose streak.

Nonetheless, in theory this is how it simply goes: golds can play with platinums so whether you're plat 1 you can still play with gold 5 if their MMR was magically high enough.

Additionally they could have been duoing with somebody of your MMR, matching you two in the same game.

Its a minor inconvenience, wouldn't lose sleep over it.

No lmao I've seen golds in my diamond matches.

This kid has a 42% win rate over his career games this season and I have a 51% in plat 4/3 while I'm on a win spree and he's on a loss spree. If he's on a loss spree his mmr would be lower. He wasn't duo he was just fucking garbage. Golds are fucking garbage. Plats are fucking garbage. Low diamond is fucking garbage. 95% of my losses is my team being stupid as fuck and snowballing a fiora to be 14-0 before laning phase is over. It doesn't matter how fucking good you are, a 14-0 Bronze Fiora would fuck anybody in the LCS because there's 0 counterplay once she's ahead. It's the same shit as pre-nerf camille.
