How to play vs ad kennen top

How do you beat him? He picked kennen into my renekton pick and it was hard to cs and lane vs him. I don't know if my last game is typical bc my jg gave him a couple early buffs and kills so he snowballed hard but after he had red buff he backed and got botrk and from that point on i couldn't cs without losing a large portion of hp. If i tried to engage he just ran away while stunning me and if by some chance someone reached him or almost got away he popped botrk active. What are his powerspikes and when can I try to fight him if at all?

that is a tough lane considering he still does his magic damage but has ad ... its hard to build against

id suggest trying item 3194 item 3047

but if you see him picked before you do then i suggest Galio and make him cry... cuz you scale with MR and get a shield based on MR but you can go full armor in game while taking an MR page in runes

Think it's worth skipping or delaying black cleaver? It's hard to pass up on renekton, i can wait on the tiamat for sure but not sure about bc

maybe vs the kennen

you need movement speed starting boots and 4 hp pots to sustain a lil and dodge his poke. or start dorans shield maybe full build be like item 3812 item 3071 item 3194 item 3074 item 3047 item 3026

Yup makes sense, can probably rely on renekton's base damage early if I build defensively first.

I love it when Kennen's build AD. FIrst off, their early game damage will not be at max potential because his skills aren't getting a boost at all. If you're a fighter and not a tank, it's actually a little easier for you because for 1300 you can build item 3155 for free shield/mr, item 3111 to reduce stun time, then just build a item 1031 . He no longer has the AP burst to stun kill you, so now you can punish him for this. He's a lot easier to all-in when they build AD.
