Suggestion for supports in aftergame statistics
Hey, been trying out the support role, but for me, support is the hardest to tell exactly how impactful you're being. If you're the ap carry, you can see how much magic damage you did, or how many monsters you counterjungled as the jungler. Would it be possible for there to be a 'damage prevented' category for supports? Hp healed is kinda weird, counting everything short of regen (i think) but what about the many supports who don't directly heal? karma, lulu, janna shields, etc.
Formula could be simple, if you apply a shield to someone, and that shield takes damage, you prevented that much damage. Would also love to see this for bond of stone as well. Your adc gets hit, supposed to take x damage, only takes y after the reduction (because you took it) and you prevented them from taking the difference of x -y. I realize some people like garen or alister kind of have their own sources of damage prevention, it could be the same way, but split, just like ap and physical damage.
"you prevented x damage to allies" "you prevented Y damage from yourself"
On the topic, say my adc is about to die to kalista rend, and I shield him as karma, preventing the death. Is it possible to just get a little 'savior' notice, letting people know that he WOULD have died if the support hadn't saved him? could be something simple like a little notification in chat, or a tiny glowing particle around the savior for 3seconds.
I realize these aren't needed, but i thought it would be a nice way to help supports not only improve their game (so i can see exactly how much more my shields do when i take windspeaker instead of thunderlord, or cdr runes vs flat ap) and to help them feel rewarded. Supports aren't supposed to get 'kiling sprees' or anything of the sort, so having a little 'rescued your adc' notice would be cool.
