Riot Legit Gave You The Aatrox you wanted and yet you complain

I was here on league when Aatrox was released. I remember the mini changes he went through, and I know how much the community has absolutely clamored for a rework.

"I don't feel like an unstoppable war machine when I play Aatrox" "I don't like how he feels like he's designed to be a split pusher instead of being in the thick of battle. That W actively works against fighting with teammates."

I actually remember these complaints.

ALL OF THEM were addressed, and now people are coming out of the woodworks saying, "I miss his more muted personality" "Oh he's just super edgy now"

That's like the exact opposite of what everyone clamored for!

There is no winning with you guys. It's literally impossible.

That is gameplay. Aatrox rework complaints are about his personality. It isn't that hard to be honest.

Moreover, people wanted to see his theme of a "war inspirator" fullfilled in his gameplay. You know, his old lore was all about turning the tides of a battle and driving man crazy with bloodlust and fury, and people wanted to do that with their team. Instead, riot removed completely that part of the lore, so... We got what we all wanted I guess? :^)

Aatrox was a "war painter", he wasn't fury, violence, rage... he had a poetic view of those aspects, he was interested in inciting them in those that he deemed worthy to be his "work of art". Literally, he saw elegance in chaos and violence.

New Aatrox is ten times more straightforward. "I kill everyone I meet because it makes me hard, and I want vengeance on those that wronged me."
