Rate the roles from most impactful to least

What roles do you think are the most impactful and which are the least? For me personally I would say:

  1. Jungler - Jungle has the biggest map presence and a good early gank can mean the difference between victory and defeat.
  2. ADC - Having all their damage come from a distance, not rely on their abilities, and generally being a full AttackSpeed AD focus means they're the most threatening person in every teamfight. If that's not enough of a reason, they also live in the lane closest to dragon, meaning winning their lane also allows for the team to easily take a powerful objective in securing victory.
  3. Mid - being in the centermost lane, they have the biggest capability to roam, and being in the shortest lane, it's usually the lane who's towers matter the most.
  4. Top - The peeling, tank champion lives here. Also they generally take a TP because of the distance of the lane. that being the case, if they win their lanes hard, they can take their victory to other lanes.
  5. Support - THIS IS NOT A RIFF AT SUPPORTS. My most played champion is soraka. The thing is, even if you do super well as a support getting tons of assists and no deaths, that does not guarantee you will win.

What about you guys? Ahhh... plz don't just make a list btw. If you explain why you put each lane where it is your opinion has much more weight.

Jungle they decide every lane and determine who actually has fun in the game and who doesn't.

Bot lane. Supports are absurdly overpowered and overloaded with CC and the impact they have on the game now is way too much. Riot needs to go through and nerf that entire role. ADCs are overpowered simply by supports being so overloaded and being so good at keeping them alive.

Mid exerts pressure on the map early on by roaming

Top may as well not be in the game.

  1. Jungle - Has nearly unlimited pressure on the map if you pick a meta champ while simultaneously having minimal risk to themselves (again assuming a meta pick).
  2. Mid - Has a lot of map pressure (not as much as jungle, but close), but unlike junglers they typically will face much more risk while laning due to ganks.
  3. Support + ADC - Both have potential to carry much harder than other roles if left alone, but typically this requires near perfect coordination. Mix in the fact that they are the #1 gank target and both fall short of being independent enough to impact a game on a mid/jungle level unless major mistakes are made.
  4. Top - You are expected to have the hardest laning phase, with minimal impact on other lanes early on (tp ganks being the only real option), all while scaling poorly (as bruisers/juggernauts), or just being a cc bot/bullet sponge (tanks). Best case scenario you are a split pusher, but this still heavily relies on your team to succeed so you have no real impact by yourself.

I wouldn't place jungle at the top. The jungler only has impact when he got decent laners, when they suck he can't pull of ganks and the enemy jungler gets ahead. Downvote from shit laners inc lul.

Depends on champion and elo. Id rate supports at #1 if you are good at roaming and picking different supports depending on the elo and matchup. The higher the elo, the more valuable the support player becomes.

Least impactful probably ADC. Its literally everyone else's job to get the ADC to be able to do their job. If everyone else fails to perform, the ADC wont be doing much either. Even if the ADC is ahead, it means next to nothing when they get CCd into oblivion.

you'd best put support above adc boi! the support spends the first couple levels of the game being the bot lane beastie

  1. Jungle cause of early game pressure
  2. Support, because they are bonkers broken
  3. Adc. The entire game is set up to get them fed and keep them ahead
  4. Mid. They can actually impact a ton of the map early and help secure objectives
  5. Top, tbh they literally do pretty much nothing impactful unless you play a tank and peel the adc.

Adc because a fed adc is gg

Jungler because they can help botlane before mid

Mid because they can roam botlane

Support because they help the adc throughout the game

Top because most of the time they have no impact on the game.

Eedat2/21/2018, 5:29:35 PM2 votes
  1. ADC - get fed and win games. To be fair, pretty awful until at least 2-3 items

  2. Support - actually has more impact in lane than the ADC. Get tower and roam all over the map like a jungler that doesn't need to stop to farm

  3. Jungle - high impact early that normally falls off later unless super fed

  4. Mid - honestly was flip flopping junkie and mid for 3 and 4. Push out wave and roam. Normally pretty good scalers

  5. Top - lol braindead tank or bust

hoganftw2/21/2018, 4:30:28 PM2 votes
  1. ADC: If you're good, you can probably carry a garbage support.
  2. Jungle: Camp the lanes and win the game
  3. Mid: basically roam and gank lanes too
  4. Support: just shield and peel for your ADC, it's not rocket surgery.
  5. Top: I dunno, maybe TP bot when you can. Go full tank because hey that's meta AF rn and whether you win or lose lane it doesn't matter anyways honestly.

Jungler - Wins 2 lanes wins games

ADC - Wins lane can one shot people unless other two lanes lost.

Mid - Can roam easier and win other lanes as well as his own

Support - Janna, Nami, Raka. Heal and shields for days.

Top - Win lane lose game thats the story of top lane.

AR URF5/15/2018, 8:01:00 PM1 votes

I play this game all day everyday so let's start with the obvious. Any fed lane that has a 5 kill lead is going to snowball other lanes and eventually win the game. ANY FED LANE.

from most to least impactful.

1:Jungle because it's as you said "Map Presence" and if you're jungler isn't making any ganks to enemies overextended which seems to happen like everygame. I'm no different, but I try. 2: ADC because getting a double kill bot lane is going to set you up nicely 3: Support Come on let's be honest. Supports are not always innocent like people make them out to be. The lane is decided pretty much when the support or ADC goes "this person is not worth laning with" 4: Mid because roaming. Not everyone does. I usually see it with Talon Katarina 5: Top because it seems like top laners are having only late game benefits to the team. Some top laners like Nasus just want to get "muh stacks" and keep pushing into inhib.

TheDankDuck10/17/2018, 9:45:08 AM1 votes

Most impactful to least

  1. Jungler: They usually tip the balance between equal teams with good early ganks that win the lane.
  2. ADC/Top: ADC is very powerful in teamfights because of kiting and damage output/Top is very influential as they are all late game champions. If they get fed early game, they turn into monsters as soon as the first inhib is gone. They also act as tank/fighters.
  3. Mid: Mid is very close to ADC and Top except that they dont output damage in teamfights. Their towers usually matter the most and they can roam to other lanes easily and without notice. They are also good at counter ganking other lanes which throw the enemy off.
  4. Support: They are super useless in a teamfight. Support is used for throwing out a bait for the rest of the team to come flying out for. They also are normally used to just initiate a fight.
Joxa xD5/7/2019, 7:15:10 PM1 votes
  1. Jungle because if you know how to gank and clear jungle you can help your team win their lanes and gg.

2.Top i mean most of you wont agree with this but most broken champions are played on top for example Darius or Garen you know they are tanks with a lot of damage and you cant really do anything with adc when riven is rushing on you with all of her dashes without cooldown.

  1. ADC because you can pick vayne and even if you lose lane go farm until you get rageblade then you press r and go 1v5...or draven who can literaly kill tank with 2 basic attacks...or you can pick ashe and be uselles...

4.Support because healing and shealding means a lot to your adc and tank...or you can pock leona stun 2 of them for 1 second and die....uselles....

5.Mid most of the champions played on mid are mages and with mage you cant really carry against adc or tank so even if you win your lane if bot and top lose you wint be able to do anything...

P.S. i main mid and support.

Maldini302/21/2018, 4:31:59 PM1 votes

Top is the most impactful lane kappa. Look! Look at all the towers I can destroy! Tryndamere

Death by Glamour2/21/2018, 5:12:45 PM1 votes

I think that because you play soraka you under value supports actual contribution. Soraka has to work her ass off to be anywhere near as good as a semi afk janna or lulu.

Nami for instance is super influential, pre first back she can win the lane alone.

Kaioko2/21/2018, 5:34:32 PM1 votes

For me it depends by the time of the game. Obviously this changes based on the champion in that role but overall the best performers are always in that category.

Early Game -- Jungle & Support -- Junglers control the map and can influence all lanes. Supports are inherently strong, control vision and dragon and are stronger than the ADC at that point and can make or break bot lane.

Mid Game -- Mid & Top if Tank -- Mid mages and assassins have their damaging skills maxed out and are able to one shot people since they haven't built dafenses yet. Tanks are able to run around and almost be unkillable as mages/assassins can't burst them and ADCs haven't had the gold to pick up armor pen.

Late Game -- ADCs -- At that point consistent damage and objectives are needed and they are by far the best at it.

Side note -- if you're playing top as a bruiser well you are never that impactful so enjoy the game. At least Riot recognizes that it's a problem now.

Support/Jungle/ADC/Mid/Top in that order.

Jungle / ADC / Support / Mid / Top

ADC+Support Jungler

mid and top basically don't matter

Dr Dog3/1/2018, 5:20:07 PM1 votes

jungle- better jg pretty much always wins simple as that

support- doesnt matter how braindead your adc is, with a good support all they have to do is right-click and they win plus zyra, brand and mage supports in general can solo carry rn

ADC- if your adc knows what theyre doing they can usually shit stomp and force a ff before 30mins

mid- mostly just exists to roam bottom at this point but great raw dmg in fights

top- barley affects anything on the map unless they feed a nasus or fiora honestly

HarryPotter7115/15/2018, 7:40:50 PM1 votes

Jungle - has most impact on the map early, positive or negative

Mid - Usually has most impact o teamfights, aside from adc, but has more roam potential as well

Adc - Again, lots of late-game power

Top - Would have been last but in the current meta it’s not just tanks, lots of fighters can do well enough to have an impact late game

Support - In most cases just don’t do enough to be as relevant, mainly just try to get the adc through laning phase so they can be useful - don’t take objectives, kda doesn’t matter as much, etc.
