Malzahar support is fine but I don't want every single mid mage being pushed bot lane.

If Riot nerfs him or even reworks him into the support position, or he keeps both mid and support, this means that they'll keep doing this to practically every champion that becomes really popular and gets played as support. Especially mages. I feel like they should do everything they can to make and keep him viable mid, but now you have a bunch of Malzahar mains in the support role and they're not going to just disappear. My point is if a champion is made for a lane it's original lane shouldn't be shafted because it's being played somewhere else.

Rightly said, Riot is protecting the so called meta instead of allowing us players to find a new path. I believe bc now we have lcs championships with so much media coverage that the game has reached its peek of evolution that Riot will allow. Why? Because they are afraid if the meta changes they will lose fans and thus money from companys as the veiwers decline. I could careless about Mal being nerfed. I want the game to be allow players to change it like it used to. Thats how 1 top, 1 jug, 1 mid, and 2 bot were created after all. Thus we the players created the current Meta they are protecting so hard.

Which is why they support ziggs/other mages bot most of the time and says it provides interesting play styles. The reason why malz was nerfed was because he was uninteractive and oppressive. They allow the meta to change, but when it starts to get out of hand like malz they put them back in place.

there was counter play to Mal... know how i know? Bc mal can be counter picked in champion select. Kinda like how a quinn hard counters trydamer. He trys to use his dash, she vaults GG win lane all day. If you had picked the champions that do good against Mal then bot lane wouldnt of been out of hand. They didnt put him back in place they nerfed him. I'm not saying rebuff take it back or what ever. I'm saying they nerfed a champion with a 51% winrate thats practially perfectlly balanced.

Something people forget and that I keep reminding them about, what goes into each role was originally dictated by the community. When the game was in its early years, Riot didn't say "Tanks and bruisers top, mages and assassins mid, marksman and support bottom lane", actually support was a role created by the League community and what went into which lane was also determined by the community.

This means that it doesn't matter what ends up as a support because support is a community driven role. Riot rolled with what the community determined to be in which lanes, then started molding the game around it to keep their players happy. So in actuality, it's us the playerbase that is partially to blame with the current state of the game because we dictated roles and which champions should and should not be in them. Having champions go into new lanes and new roles is something I enjoy seeing because the game gets boring easily at this point.
