Meanwhile other tanks like stuggle in lane with his mana costs and all the nerfs he has gotten. (plus his CC is super dodgeable and telegraphed)

Please help Sion out Riot, he was good for a patch or so and the nerfs started rolling out as well as the nerf to cinderhulk. Bring Sion back into play because honesty Gnar has more reliable CC is mobile and just as tanky in Mega form. W detonation time hurt him the most. He could also use some lower mana costs.

I wouldnt say gnar has more reliable CC since its tied to his transformation which comes with a huge CD after its over.

Coming from an experienced Sion player since his rework in the PBE..He's not weak. At all. He's going to always be dominant in top lane -- but not so much jungle.

His mana costs are fine. For one, you should be trying to get a frozen heart almost always as your first item for the cooldown reduction + mana/armor stats and AoE. There. Your mana costs are NOW solved for the rest of the game! Seriously now, either you're inexperienced at playing him and you play him in obvious ways (IE, standing behind a minion you're clearly going to smack into the enemy without moving/shifting your lines of fire) you probably deserve to struggle in lane. Sions CC is reliable at all points in the game -- and he has a ton more in comparison to Gnar.
