Normal Draft is a mix of the wrong players. Suggestion inside

So recently, I landed myself a 5 game ranked ban. I'm a meanie yadda yadda yadda ect. I'm currently serving my punishment and am reflecting on my poor behavior. I get it.

What I don't get is the random medley of players that draft pick consists of. I consider Draft Pick to be a middle ground between ranked and normals. Not quite the stress of ranked, but still more serious than normals. So far I've gone 0-9 on the way to getting my 5 wins.

These losses are no ones fault, and everyone is playing to their skill level, except that i'm seeing an odd trend.

Most of my losses are because of two things. Friends queuing together, and BRAND NEW players in draft pick. I understand that the friend thing will be almost impossible to fix, because friends don't have the same skill level, but I would really love an option to not queue up with friends. So often the duo, trio, or quad refuse to communicate, and bully you into what they want you to do, or a favorite of mine, when the party all afk's at once because they got bored and decided to do something else. I get that one lots.

In regards to the new players, i'm not sure what kind of MMR system riot has in place for draft pick, but at Gold III ranked MMR i'm consistently matched up with people who are bronze or have never played ranked before. My suggestion to fix this is to make a queue solely for people who are ranked banned. The majority of people I see who are ranked banned and determined and focused on winning, unlike the medley that is draft pick. I understand that the queue times would be longer for rank-ban-only, but there are enough people playing, and riot is generous enough with their banning algorithm that it wouldn't be too bad.

TLDR draft pick is a terrible mix of every skill of player, and usually no one even tries to win.

If your g3 and you have bronze normal game mmr thats your fault and not the games'

I get the duos that want to ruin everyone else's game in ranked too, it's not just Draft pick that suffers.

Also, you have a different MMR for normal queues than you do ranked queues, and draft pick is just a normal queue. So if you rarely play normals, your MMR for a normal queue is going to be much lower than you think you should be. That's why you're getting these type of players when you're goldIII.
