Just increase the missle speed on his stun. It wont solve all his problems, but it will boost him enough to make him a viable pick for solo queue.

Taric is actually quite viable in solo queue at the moment. He's just a really boring champion.

yea :/ I actually have a decent win percentage with him. but i loathe playing him. it's a boring 40 minutes. almost like playing top lane against a nasus when you don't toplane. just waveclear so he cant split push... hope your team can 4v4...

Give him a real ult.

I say with no exaggeration; Taric has the absolute worst ultimate in the entire game. Do you remember his original ult, radiance? it was a persistent aura that also gave him health regeneration with increasing mana cost over time. That was a good ult, his current ult is absolute garbage. I am (hilariously) ranked as #170 Taric world (for some reason). I can tell you he is fine aside from his utterly useless ult.

Before someone chimes in with : "BUT IT GIVES LIKE 10000 GOLD WORTH OF ITEMS TROLOLOL" that is only true if every single character on the team was affected at the same time and also took advantage of both AD / AP which is never going to be the case. Even at max efficiency it is still only a small stat buff spread across too wide to be useful. Give him a real ult.

As a long time Taric main, here are my 2 cents:

Taric is pretty viable. Not in too great of a position, but viable indeed.
"Not fun to play" is pretty subjective, I always have a blast when playing him. Personal I guess.
Missile speed on his E would help him tremendously! I mean it's not a HUGE change but significant. Yes, I would agree this would make him better.
Taric's ult is good. Good, not great. He needs some kind of damage ult, similar to what he has now but I agree it needs tweaks.

to be honest, I'd rather have a small speedbuff after eacj spellcast+more base as, or storeing those passive stacks like riven. And some mana sustain on the passive vs champs... Right now, it's just really hard to utilize your passive procs, his AA animation is slow, his AS low, and he's as immobile as it gets. His stun barly buys the time needed to land one AA, and after that your opponent usually can kite you. The problem with that is that his CDs are insanely high if he can't get his passive procs. And in adidtion, for a champ that is meant to frequently cycle trough his skills, his manacosts are kinda absurd.

If he can use his kit more reliably, he probably needs some numbers to be tones down though, if he's alowed to cycle through the passive he's an absurd monster.
