What's the point of "Fill" if it is always just support

The point of the fill option is to demonstrate that Riot is so deep in denial about how unpopular the support role really is that they essentially made a button that says "Mostly support".

Fill isn't random sadly

I have gotten roles that aren't support when choosing fill.

i've gotten every role through fill. it's just that support has the most demand

i usually queue with 2-4 of my friends and we always pick fill just for the randomness of it. one of us ALWAYS gets support though, so yeah. there's that.

Its not. A lot of times its also jungle.

i find fill to be useful. for example if you made a group of 5...if you can pretty much do good in any role and prefer to have others play in their best roles..instead of taking away their role by choosing anything you pick fill. and then everyone can feel better picking their best positions.

i find nothing wrong with fill. and i am a support and mid main.

Because "fill" isn't "random," and DQ needs supports so people get support. It's working exactly as intended.
