PSA Mordekaiser 5.16- Stop Maxing E Bot Lane Max W- Numbers don't lie
I know
new W is getting a lot of flack but It is actually more dangerous than his Q under the right conditions, which in Bot Lane are not very hard to set up.
But first let me break down why maxing R>>W>>Q>>E Is the way to go. Specifically, breaking down why E is pointless and actually detrimental. To keep it simple I will equip
as the only item, which in bot lane should be rushed. And I will put
at lvl 5. Level actually doesn't matter W out scales E regardless later on. With the right runes and masteries you can get 80 AP without a big time AP item ( 2
) level 5. So I use Rylai to drive the point home.
At lvl 6 Stats AD 61.5+25 = ~86.5 AP: 100
E: .6 AD & AP = 112 from his ratio + 95 lvl 3 = 207 damage for 48 health W: .6 AP = 60 from his AP ratio +220 = 280 x 2(both ppl proc damage) =560 W-Heal: .3AP = 30 + 90 = 120 * 2 = 240 this is also damage taken from enemy(s) Total W damage at W lvl3 = 800 over 4 sec or 200 per sec. NO HEALTH
So even if you activate W and activate the W execute after 1 sec that damage is still more than E with no health cost. With the right support you can lock an enemy early game in that for the four seconds (
). With Rylai 40% slow they aren't escaping just think
throwing them back or
knocking them up.
Maxing E is pointless and it actually slows Morde down considerably. At rank 5 you're dealing 72 damage to yourself. When soloing dragon you do more damage to yourself than it does and the shield you get back is negligible. Maxing W reduces your cool down and with the right runes and mastery you can get MAX CD of 8 seconds down to ~5, which means if W lasts the entire four seconds you can recast nearly instantly. With the extra point or two in Q you can easily take dragon with two items alone without dealing considerable damage to yourself.
Mordekaiser Vortex:
if you have the right support anyone or two or three champions caught in it are done. Nice damage a nice execute, Nice Heal, More Q damage that you can actually land, CDR, Less HP cost and a HP burning passive.
