PBE Mordekaiser Mastery Interaction Issues

Mordekaiser and the Preseason

This was originally caught on the EUW boards, but figured I would try and provide traction as I am sure these issues will seldomly creep into other champions kits.

The glaring issue is the terminology of some of these masteries specifically for Runic Armor.

Runic Armor Rank 5: +8% bonus to all shields and healing on you (includes lifesteal and health regeneration).

The word is that this does not work for Morde's passive nor his Children of the grave or the Undying grasp mastery. I am sure this means that his W is also subject to the same problem.

Hopefully this is just a PBE oversight, but as it stands this is a huge issue concerning Morde's kit as it seems to play by different rules than the rest of the game. For example, his Q registers as an AOE in regards to spell vamp, yet no special rules are being made for it.

The problem with this Runic Armor screw up is what would 8% bonus even mean if it did work with Morde, what does that Bonus entail? Does Morde get 33% of his Max HP as shield instead of 25%. Does his shield regeneration on damage also increase to 33%. Is his resistances enhanced by 8%.

I had somewhat high hopes that the hard regulation of his duo-lane potential would make way for some semblance of a usable solo lane especially with these new masteries, but it seems Morde just got dumpstered from apparent oversights and lack of care.

If someone has done some serious experiments with Morde and the new masteries please prove me wrong.

I caught that failed interaction when the notes leaked. http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/KI4nvYNL-runic-armor-and-mordekaiser

Either way this needs clarity I doubt riot has the balls to give

At least for the increased shield part, I assume Iron Man doesn't count because it's probably not coded as a "shield" in the same vein as things like Janna or Morg's shields.

In other words, it's functionally a shield, but under the hood it's not one. Or something.

halfway live up to his Lore would be a 300% improvement
