Thoughts of Rakan from a Diamond support main.
After playing Rakan for the first time 3 times in a row in flex (he's a pretty easy champ to pick up, noob friendly), I can honestly say he's pretty fun but only really good if you have Xayah as your ADC simply because the E range you get from her is 100% nessecary to go in and out for team fights. Courage of the Col is a must, running anything else is gimping yourself. If you do run anything else, try thunderlords for burst or windspeakers but I don't think it's really worth.
Max W first for burst or E first for against poke. Q is a sht spell but okay when you W in, Q and then E back to shield/heal Xayah at the same time making them hard to trade with. Combo is w, auto, q, e back or ult them.
Good counter is Brand support simply because brand has way more presence in lane and if Brand ults Rakan and he e's back to Xayah they get bounced on and die.
magic pen or hybrid reds, HP yellows, armor quints and flat AP blues. Can swap out magic pen reds for armor reds.
