If you're going for these group reworks, can you at least do it for all of them?

Juggernauts are "powerful, durable, immobile and melee."... You buffed and changed Darius Skarner Mordekaiser Garen to fit into this archetype

But then you completely ignore the champions who also perfectly fit that discription, making them just sub-part picks to any of the ones who were changed. Yorick Olaf Aatrox Trundle I'm not saying any of these champions are bad, but there is actually just no reason to take any of them over the ones who were buffed.

The same applies to the marksmen changes. Quinn Caitlyn Graves Corki KogMaw MissFortune all got buffed and made to scale better with what is now the only thing that's important critical strike. (excluding kog maw, who breaks the attack speed cap)

That said Other champions like Ashe Ezreal Twitch Varus are left as sub-par picks, because they weren't reworked to fit into the new system or other champions just do it better after the reworks

Whaaat?, the item 3508 item 3078 new powerspike is the best thing that's ever happened to Ezreal In fact, I swear that change was made with him and Lucian in mind.

Ashe and Twitch got small changes orienting them towards their unique identity (The CC ADC and the stealth ADC). In fact, with how teams are now loaded with AD damage, Ashe is a fantastic pick for the utility she offers while still dealing a LOT of damage.

Varus got the shaft though.

I agree that most adcs are fine, but twitch feels a bit outclassed. But I also agree that riot ignoring champs like yorick and trundle who should've been archtype juggernauts is annoying. Yorick has been begging for some work since his release.

Yorick has been left mostly untouched since his sustain nerfs back in '12, that's because Riot HATES HIM (I mean, his design is apparently too toxic to show up in the free rotation, Riot doesn't want ANYONE playing Yorick EVER). People keep saying "He's due for a rework" but that's a lie, considering reworks take around a year, give or take, and last time Meddler said anything about Yorick it was "We're not working on him, RN, but MAAAYYYBEEEE we'll give him a full scale someday" welp, I'd say season 7 is when you're getting your Yorick rework.

The point of the group rework is to separate the champions in each group - give each one a different reason to be picked. Ignore Yorick as he is up for a really big rework and Aatrox because he has a jump with CC attached (making him more of a dive fighter). Also ignore Olaf - one of the defining features of juggernauts is that you kite them or die - Olaf's ultimate and axe stop that.

So. What reasons do you have for picking the champions that weren't reworked in the group updates. Trundle is a stat stealer - he is useful if you need to soften the enemies front line up - and has his pillar - making him particularly good against champions without mobility and for those who can go in but not get out again.

Ezrael offers consistent long range damage and has a blink for added safety. He got this identity worked on in the update. Twitch offers unrivalled pick potential - this was accentuated in his update with changes to his Q and ultimate pushing him towards the mid game assassin playstyle. Varus is the poke ADC. IF you want poke from an ADC, pick him. Ashe is the only markman capable of a real initiation and offers more utility than the others through her slow. Again, accentuated this preseason.

Kalista, Draven and Vayne already have their gameplay identities.

Yorick is up for a larger scale rework/relaunching (eventually). Riot has stated they think he'd fit into this archetype though.

Aatrox is more of a light fighter focused on diving. not really much of a juggernaut but I'd like him to be made into one

They don't need to rework every member of a group, because not every member of every group is in a bad place. They ignored Olaf because he was already doing well (and is rather popular). They ignored Trundle for similar reasons. They ignored Aatrox because he is not classified as a juggernaut and they ignored Yorick because his rework goes miles and miles beyond differentiating him a bit.

Ashe got a rework just this season, Twitch got changes aimed at differentiating him and Ezreal + Varus both have some unique aspects to them already (Varus is a viable mid laner, Ezreal is the only Muramana ADC short of Urgot).

It's not necessary to rework every single champion in the game. They should rework for a good reason beyond "including everyone".

I'm fairly sure Riot outright said they considered Olaf, DrMundo and Shyvana Juggernauts already. Dunno why, say Volibear isn't in there too but eh.
