Why is ignite on such a short cooldown?

Like i understand other combat summoner spells having low cooldowns, they are pretty telegraphed and only serve a single purpose, but ignite? Ignite is a 600 range point and click 70/410 TRUE DAMAGE that also provides vision and grievous wounds. Just the damage alone is already between 1/4 to 1/3 of most adcs HP in the game, but it ALSO denies the healing from their lifesteal AND their supports on a 180 second cooldown? Ghost offers you... movement speed on the same cooldown...

Because Riot is desperately trying to get toplaners to consider ignite instead of TP so they buff ignite as much as possible. And TP usage is only going up(despite constant CD and usability nerfs like removing the ability to self-cancel) as people are getting much better at the macro game which makes TP way more useful.

Because Riot prefers autist gameplay over teamplay, so they buff over and over this shit while non-stop nerfing TP and exhaust.

because ignite is the weakest summoner spell. you know, some people play this game on hard mode.

Because Riot keeps trying to encourage fights over strategies.

Late game relevance The damage and healing reduction is super strong early game, but 410 damage on a 180-second cooldown is lackluster. Late game it is given a short cooldown so it can help guarantee kills against enemies with healing
