Performance Vs Outcome in placements

So, I decided to start getting into ranked this season, as the new champ select seems so much less toxic than the others (whether it is is up for debate). I played a few games with a friend on the 18th/19th before the season started, but while I won 2 lost 4, my overall performance was pretty solid in all of them.

The real question here is, how much impact does your performance in a game determine your placement? Like, if you go 12/8/0 but the rest of your team goes 0/185/0 and you lose, is your reasonable performance weighed against that? I want to know that crappy teammates aren't 100% damnation.

If anyone could shed some light here, that'd be great.

win = win lose = lose

Well thanks

I'm wondering if it counts a lot more against you for you to lose going 0/13/0 than if you go 15/3/8

AFAIK no. It doesn't count anywhere else, so I see no reason it would here.

winning with 0/0/0 is the same as winning with 100/0/0 same goes for losing 0/0/0 = 100/0/0

That would be cool if it did. My friend said CS GO's system is like that where you won't rank up losing all the time but doing good helps or something like that and is better to do good and lose than do bad and lose. Same with doing good and winning verses doing bad and winning. I don't see why it couldn't be implemented somewhat into this game. It could still count against you as a loss but more so if you also get wrecked and be less punishing if you did decent. I don't think many would like this change though.
