Why are ranged champs being allowed top and mages allowed to be supports but not supports mid?

are all totally and legally allowed to be top laners are allowed to be supports But why can't be mid laners? The most infuriating one is who was originally a fucking mid laner and when she finally took a seat on her original role they nerf her. Now support isn't even good anymore because even though CC heavy champions like she can originally counter just isn't statistically performing better than them. They nerfed her shield size and cdr so they can burst it down and make it useless.

The thing about mage supports is

Their bad. Good in Lansing phase and maybe super late game but otherwise, bad.

You get no sheilding, healing, or anything of the likes and they usually also lack any kind of utility

Because supports are bs in mid lane. Like take morg after her rework she has a top tier mid and ALL SHE FUCKING DID WAS PRESS W ON A WAVE and set back and did nothing else that was her laning.

Supports have WAY too much utility to be able to do damage.

Like I really don't understand people like you, WE HAD SUPPORTS GO TO DIFFERENT ROLES BEFORE AND IT DOESN'T WORK. Like do you people have short term memory or something? Since I remember shit like sona mid that wasn't fun to fight.

Like every time a support goes to a different lane they basically become top tier. Like I can't remember a support that went to a another lane that wasn't immediately hate,nerfed or became super popular.

The only time I can think of it is lulu mid BUT only as a counter pick and I don't counter that.

Recently pyke went mid and top and no one liked it.

Umm Karma used to be able to go mid and top - But she became broken as hell and got nerfed..

Lulu.. used to be a top lane but then every one and their mother got some form of gap closer and Anti CC soo she kinda became useless in all positions.

Morg is still used in top, mid and Bot lane no idea what you are talking about there..

as for last 4..

Naut is still used in top lane and some times jungle though he is broken in bot lane. Blitz is usually banned because his grab is still BS since his fix. Leona had a brief moment of being top lane.. But her inability to even proc her own passive just locks her bot lane.

Ya go anywhere. Just don't take that to ranked and it's all good if you take it to ranked I can see why people might mind. They want a burst mage mid not a poke you with Qs second support mid.

Because people throw a tantrum when someone in LoL tries something (or even just asks to try something) that isn't the norm even if you aren't playing ranked.
