Nah, he was awful and impossible to balance because of his heal gimmick.

Even those who liked the new one kinda feel like he is massacred because of all those nerfs and gutting without reason.
Agree, when they reworked him i just couldn't play him
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one that thinks the rework has been a huge improvement for the character (except maybe gameplay-wise because he lost his auto attack focused gameplay and he's not really balanced right now).
i prefer the new aatrox cuz of his lore they just overloaded the fuck out of his kit
Reworks for the most part are just league of legends click baits. They are just meant to bring something new not fix the champion, if you think about it kayle rework is just basically kayle buffed. So they didnt want to buff old kayle because it would be trouble for the game but she is okay now because she is now reworked? And when the rework doesnt come out strong enough they buff the numbers until they are. Basically they cheat. [zombie-brand-clap]
All the champions that they reworked last year were better other than Nunu. Last year was a dumpster fire.
Funny how on his rework. Riot claimed they'd never leave him utterly trash tier again. And look where we are today. Old Aatrox was more viable than this aabomination.
