Jungle Diana with the new passive

tl;dr Early game I feel like I'm playing Lee Sin while trying to clear early because I'm forced to manage my abilities or even use E(26 CD btw) on a camp to keep up the attack speed

Diana is my most played at ~110k points, and all those games were played in the jungle.

I thought this when I read the patch notes, and now that I've played it I feel I was right, but clearing early with Diana is now a chore especially after level 6. There isn't much to say about clearing early besides having to wait for cooldowns between W and Q for the attack speed as you would for Lee, but when I get 6 and want to clear a camp the way I would before this patch (QWR) I get the upfront burst, 3 autos, and then take an extra 100ish damage from the camp because I only have the bonus attack speed for 3 autos. Late game there's no issue because you can still one hit entire camps with 350 AP.

All I want is for Diana to have the 20% increased attack speed at all times back, and then casting a spell can grant a bonus amount from E, or let casting multiple spells in a row stack the attack speed for more than 3 attacks.

Diana feels wonky without her 20%

She's already performing well, they wont give the 20%back just take some AS in your runes and you're good to go. I think Diana feels great to play both jungle and mid and her gameplay feels much better and healthier now that she isnt supposed to QRR to one hit. I

I agree with the op. The new changes feel really uncomfortable for anyone that mains Diana previously. Having to manage your abilities when your encouraged to burst them down, doesn't feel right. And to the people who keep saying "just take attack speed in your runes" don't you think we were doing that already?

(jk i dont even own diana i stole this image off of the interwebs.)

there's a reason why i dont play diana. i've never felt secure in her clearing. the same goes for most assassins and mages.

I play Diana mostly mid lane and for me, she feels a bit clunky now. The removal of the constant 20% bonus attack speed certainly makes it feel this way, especially since Diana has a low base attack speed (0.625) and low attack speed per level (+2.25% Attack Speed per Level). It'd be nice if they increased both.
