Top Lane RN in a Nutshell

There is literally no reason to pick any other champions.

How about you enjoy the champions, they suit your team composition better, or you have more experience on them?
I'm sticking to my preferred top laners:

Though I will admit I'm planning to add Gangplank to my rotation. My map awareness is starting to slip a bit, so I'm hoping him and Karthus will get me back into the habit of watching the map.
The problem is that the 4 I stated can literally fulfill any niche your team needs. They are all good at all stages of the game and are pretty difficult to counter. Because of this, if you learn how to play them, you don't need to pick any other champion. They're also pretty simple to learn and play.

Okay:
Middle - Ahri, Viktor, Orianna, Zed. ADC - Ezreal, Cait, Kalista, Lucian Jungle - Graves, Elise, Rek'sai, Support - Thresh, Trundle, Janna
Your point?
support?! What?
yes support trundle is very common now. watch LCS games if trundle isn't banned he's picked for support quite often
Sounds like a warlord support...or LCS is just fucking with the meta.
lol

Out of all the lanes, top lane probably has the most diversity. Check out champion.gg
ADC is the busted lane.

That is all.

I have not seen him lose a match up to any of these. Except
because I haven't seen that yet.
