Is it Better to Reroll 3 Skin Shards into 1, or Sell Them for Essence?

I usually reroll for the meme, but you might want to save up at least enough OE to just enchant one legendary skin in case you get one that you really like. (If I'm not mistaken, that's 1550 OE. Might want to fact-check that though).

Both options are bad. Loot box systems are designed to be bad so you spend money.

Look at there value. There are Skin-Shards disenchanting for 100 Essence. There are Skin-Shards disenchanting for 360 Essence.

When rerolling into a new one the value doesn't affect the outcome at all!

That's why choosing which one to roll and which one to disenchant is basicly a no-brainer. ^^ You only have to decide where you're drawing the line.

It depends on if you have a skin/ward shard you want or are hoping for.

Its almost always worth it to get to the orange essence required first, then start rerolling.

Also, it depends on the rarity of the skin shard. Its almost always worth rerolling anything below epic, but common you get the most value out of rerolling, for obvious reasons. In the end, its up to you and how efficiently you want to manage your shards/orange essence.

#Rerolling rare skins has no impact on the results of a reroll

It takes 5 of a certain skin type to unlock one you have. I'd say reroll any 520 and 750 skins you have as it's only 3 to get someone (unless you really want one of them) else save them for disenchantement as you are as likely to get a 520 skin from rolling 3 1350s as you are a 1350 from rolling a 3 520s.

The amount of orange essence you get for selling them is almost nothing. I prefer to just reroll them into a random skin. If it's a legacy/legendary skin or a skin you really want then by all means keep it but get rid of the rest.

I save my skin shards for future releases then auto re-roll them into the new releases.

I own all skins in the game that are not "limited" so when a new set of skins come out I can just auto re-roll them.

Like tomorrow when the Infernal skins come out, I will auto re-roll them.
