You say the forums are an angry vocal minority so I challenge you to survey random players. Ask them...

1: If burst damage is OK, or too high, too low. 2: If mobility is OK, too high, or too low 3: If champion kits are OK, too overloaded, too underloaded 4: If elemental drakes are fun. Do players enjoy trying to come back and finish out a game when down a bunch of elemental drakes when there is no comeback mechanic? 5: If players enjoy playing against new/reworked champions like Pyke, Aatrox, Akali, Senna, Qiyanna, Yuumi, Sylas, Kai'sa, Zoe, Neeko, Pantheon

I think you will find that many players dislike the direction this game has taken in the last 3 years. Please acknowledge this and address it rather than continuing on the direction you are heading.

They do send out surveys.

And as evident by the fact that the game isn’t bending to your will, that would indicate that your position is not as supported as you believe.

the last survey i got was about a vgu update between either fiddle, voli, and someone else......... honestly hate the way this game is changing but i never get a survey about that. only about what lore i wanna see next or what champ needs a vgu the most (spoiler alert: they do it in whatever order they want anyway)

I got 2 surveys last year.

One about what kind of champs I like (not really about the game balanced or anything) and skins I like.

The other was about actors and movies I like (like WTF is Riot looking to make a movie?)

Riot seems to not want to actually ask the players about what how they feel about this game (as most EN seem to think its falling more and more)

Im sure its because they are asking the Korean and Chinese these questions because Rion only seems to really care about them.

Ironically, Riot Support says they're completely useless these days beyond reciting the blitzcrank bot and if you have any opinions or want your voice to be heard, go to the boards lol. Fucking waste of time

I get surveys all the time. Just remember to check your emails. Granted I do find myself disagreeing with a lot of what the boards have to say in regards to balance. I'm pretty easygoing when it comes to dealing with constant, erratic change so maybe I'm just not on the same page as everybody else.

If those players want fast games, the fair thing is to do that, they are the majority afteral.

Moreover, Riot already gathers a ton of data on what people prefer in the form of what they play and how much they play it. Surveys are actually a crappy way of gauging what someone wants.

Depending on which dragon soul the enemy team gets, you can still make a comeback by stealing the elder drake as it is now the same strength for both teams.

Don't talk shit about Neeko. She is the healthiest out of the bounch you mentioned. Also, if someone loses to an Akali, they probably got out played hard. Akali is so trash, if you don't come out ahead and play her at 100%, you won't be able to do much. Her win rate is also so trashy. She's not a Yasuo--once you put her down, she can hardly comeback.
