@Riot: Will we ever get new summoner spells

I don't know about many people, but I feel like league is a strategy game above all. And one of the most fun I had leveling up was figuring out what new summoner spells did, and learning how to use them in game.

After a while, riot started to remove a lot of old spells like , revive , or clairvoyance. And while these may have had good reasons to be removed, I always thought there was some niche value to it.

My question to riot is this. Will we ever see new spells in summoners rift, or twisted treeline anytime soon? And if not, is there any plans to upgrade current spells to make them more relevant? like cleanse or clarity. Cause I honestly hate seeing flash as the 1 and only summoner spell people take. Makes me quite sad there is not a lot of diversity in pregame strategies

Gotta agree, Flash + some other sum spell is a bit too common. Summoner spells lack diversity more than anything else (even more than LCS champ pool kappa), It's actually surprising that they haven't addressed this earlier.

Yea, I think it gets glossed over a lot on the forums. But from a game design point of view, Summoner spells are just as vital as runes and masteries. I wish there was a way to bring more attention to it.
