I know they wouldn't dare remove her viability in the jungle, and they're almost certainly keeping her role as a jungler in mind with how they've approached her new kit. I do wanna know if any of the devs think she'll have success in any other roles though. Love Evelynn, but I suck at jungling. If I could take her top or support and be effective I'll be a happy camper :)

From what I've read, I'm almost certain that her passive will be similar to her current passive, her Hate Spikes will likely remain but probably have different ratios and I believe I read that her ultimate is going to be similar to what it is currently. If this sounds like a viable top lane kit to you, then I guess you could try her out top lane. However, I highly doubt she'll be a viable support given the likelihood that she'll lack any meaningful kind of CC outside of her ultimate and she also probably won't be able to sustain herself or her ADC in any way.

I'm pretty sure that her current ult is getting ditched since it kinda disconnects with her role as an assassin. An ult that makes her tanky AF doesn't really fit. Even though Warwick's VGU was a modernization, he still changed a decent amount with the new tools given to his abilities. If Eve is gonna be similar in scope I'd expect some changes to the mechanics of almost everything, including her stealth. Reav3 said something about "mastering her shadow form" in the Champion Roadmap post which makes me think there's more to it now.
She might make a good roaming top laner. I already play Evelynn support to be an ass. Generally your absence on their screens gives you a lot of presence and pressure in lane. You keep running at em for an E Q with thunder lords before running away and slowly but surely wear them down. It's also funny when they both put control wards in lane to deal with you. Or when you roam mid while the enemy bot lane thinks you're still lurking around.

Yeah, it probably isn't going to be like the free perma-stealth that she has now but I'm sure it'll be similar. It'll probably require more skill to use somehow.
