As much as people wanna call Zoe broken...

I just can't, in good conscience, recommend playing her to anyone.

She just isn't that good, especially compared to most other mid laners.

  • Her damage isn't reliable, and is super telegraphed (meaning you won't land many hits against competent players).

  • She has long CDs on her combo, and doesn't do any damage outside of it.

  • She isn't mobile, and is very squishy -- she can't even exist in a poke lane.

  • She's very easy to shut down and kill.

  • She has very little waveclear, and is easily pushed in.

Sure she can do some high damage (one time) if she lands an E>Q combo, but that doesn't happen very often now that people know what to expect. Outside of that, she really doesn't have much going for her. Her W is nice, sure, but it's also unreliable.

But, really, why bother playing Zoe when you can play Lux and do the same thing, but better, from long range? You could also play Syndra, Diana, Akali, Fizz and so many other champs and do her job (bursting people) better than she could ever dream of and have an easier time of it all the while.

I don't get why people complain about her when every other burst mage (and a lot of just mages in general) is just better than her in nearly every way.

I don't want to call her broken I just skip the "want" part and call her broken because her entire kit is unfun to play against.

What the actual fuck? So 5 seconds is a long cooldown now, ok I guess, next thing is Yasuo and Riven long cooldown mobility spells...

She has very little waveclear, and is easily pushed in.

Also this, what the actual fuck she 1 shots the wave with her Q, its extremely powerful early game since she can clear faster than anyone I have seen at lvl 1 which gives her time to freely spam Q while you struggle with wave control.

well, i kinda try to main her atm :D

what I see is if the enemy team has a lot of mobility champions u are going to have a hard time. otherwise, she is fine.

is lux doing the job better? ama say yes and no. I see Zoe more as a champ to set up a kill then like lux 100-0 a champion. you try to hit your bubble behind walls when the enemy doesn't expect it and your team can kill the person that is sleeping :D. because if the enemy bought 1 Mr/health item there is no way u going to 100-0 with one combo unless fed.

and to all the persons that say she has insane mobility, I cant understand you what so ever. if you chase Zoe she has no mobility if Zoe chases you she can get mobility from your summoners.

what I think is zoe needs more time before we are going to try to balance her. and all the hate comes because of the designer of the champion. there is no way zoe would get so much hate if it was som1 that made her.

Considering I once saw Zoe flash into a tower, sleep my mid laner, one Q kill him, and flash out... I'd say her "not being mobile" is rather wrong. Mages shouldn't have Renekton levels of bullying and the fun factor of going against an Illaoi... Making me miss Annie smh xD [zombie-brand-clap]

OP, you're not being serious about this are you? She has an ability that lets her pick up item actives and summoner spells. Her R is on a pretty low cool down. And she can one shot any squishy and at least half health a tank with her Q alone, whether she's fed or not. I think you only played 1-6 games as Zoe and you made this post to try and justify that she takes any form of "skill" and pretty bad at her too.

Well whatever her damage is (which is hopefully irrelevant because i'm building tank usually) i still find it hard to dodge her E when i'm chasing her.
