Suggestion about changes to demoting out of a rank

Okay so demoting in league of legends sucks, its a common fact of life thats been around since cavemen fought off aliens, we all know that. But i personally think that the "randomness" of when you get demoted is a big part of the problem. As we know, its not really random, its something like you get a demotion shield for 2-5 games after promotion based on your hidden mmr vs your actual rank. But nobody really knows exactly what that means, and I personally think thats kinda unfun? Not knowing when something bad is going to happen, but knowing it might maybe happen after this game feels scary and sad. And the whole "free win in series" concept was pretty good and i kinda based my ideas of this suggestion off that.

I think demotion and promotion should work fairly similarly (at least in lower elo, like maybe gold and below, just like the free win in series idea) When you promote, you go to like 25lp or something instead of 0 (just like demotion brings you down to around 75 or so), remove the demotion shield that can actually really destroy your hidden mmr which is never good, and add a redemption series where if losing would bring you below 0 lp you go into a series to save yourself. Right now moving up in ranks and moving down is extremely asymmetrical, these changes would make them much more smooth moving and symmetrical like in the old days of your actual ELO being shown, but this way still keeps the great feelings of promotion AND REDEMPTION. Sure it might be like care bear mode but i think in the lower ranked play divisions it could boost a lot of happiness, maybe also move people through lower ranks faster. This idea would also keep hidden mmr much closer to your actual ranking, but then it might stop rank skipping, but idk entirely. Just an idea. Btw I am a diamond player so this wouldnt help me at all, so I think Im fairly unbiased. And even though I hate saying lower elo "isnt as serious" as higher elo because it sounds snobby and jerkish, but its kinda true and instead of pretending it isnt true to be nice, I think helping people play happier is a little more important to most people than the brutal seriousness of the differences in silver rankings. Tbh Im not sure if this idea is better than the current system, but It would definitely FEEL better.

Ive thought about this for a while but didnt mention it until I saw the patch yesterday where riot is helping lower elo and newer players jungle with different champs and I realized thats a damn good idea, maybe I should post mine? thoughts? I would love to hear a rioters opinion on the topic, but then again i bet everyone who posts on the boards wants a rioters response.

Demotion needs to be easier and instant. As soon as your LP drops below zero GONE. I'm tired of these boosted shitters just sitting in d4 and never fucking fall out.

How about they just make everything easier and use a numerical MMR system and only have brackets that are positions in said ranking system? Like say everyone below x mmr is bronze then from x to y-1 is silver ect.

Yes I abhor promos and find them to be overall flawed due to the requirements of winning '60%' of a specific set of games. If a player can maintain an over 50% WR they will climb... eventually. RNGesus can decide that it will take a few hours of attempts to actually win the required games instead of just giving whatever rank is actually deserved for appropriate play.

The tiered system as it stands serves no real purpose other than to make something arbitrarily harder than necessary and to hopefully get players to play more? I guess? Let us be honest here, ranking works predominately on skill considering the player base. Seeing a little number go up more often would motivate a player like me more than seeing me go from whatever rank 5 to that same rank 4 shrug
