Recent Behavior and Earning Rewards From Games

Okay so I've seen many posts and very vague answers/ideas from the community/Rioters with how this works, but I would like to get a general statement on how it works or when we will find out how it works.

If a player has recently been given a punishment due to behavior they are ineligible to receive rewards from games with rank S until they have reformed. We understand that.

The part we need clarity on is what you (Riot) considers "reformation" of a player. I have read that it takes 3 months to reform 1 tier of behavioral punishment. This would mean that if you were chat restrict for 10 games you must wait 3 months after you finish your punishment to be able to receive rewards. I didn't hear this from a Rioter so I do not know if this is true or not.

It would be really nice to know for sure, and hear from a Rioter what exactly the requirements are to "reform".

In my opinion I think making it a time-based thing isn't a good idea, I personally preferred the "certain number of games" deal like with chat restrict. This way you have to actually go through playing multiple games with good attitude. With the 3 month timer method, people can just smurf or ignore League all together. But if you guys (Riot) are not going to budge on the whole timer issue I would recommend doing less than 3 months, that's like 200-300 games for people that play 2-4 games a day. I personally think its also quite unfair towards the people that play more often.

TL:DR please just tell us what we need to do without vague answers, give us a post saying what reform really means or BETTER YET put a timer on our profile letting us know how much longer we have to wait before we can receive the rewards

Here's a post made by a Rioter about this topic. It states that there is no fixed time period players have to play through in order to be considered reformed for the Hextech Crafting system. So, it will likely be different from player to player.

Unfortunately, this is still somewhat vague, and in the same post the Rioter states that they are looking into making it more clear for players to avoid confusion.
