I'm sorry, what? Have I been playing Kat wrong this whole time by going into every matchup figuring it's an advantage pre-6 for my opponent and farming safely until I can roam? I really must suck at Kat.

Idk I never had problems out harassing the enemy as Kata, her combo is still pretty devistating to someone's health bar pre 6.

Yupp that too, at least the health changes will make it so that 1 hit of an auto attack will make it an even trade. And it will probably be the end of instalocking Kat, especially vs Ranged champs/

Honestly her full combo pre6 leaves her in melee range with no escapes and autos. If you can't chunk her/murder her as she walks away or tries to fight you with base ad you probably picked a champ worse pre6 than her.

I find that her ability to bring a ton of potion to the lane and infinite, undodgeable harass make her something of an endurance predator mid.

kat bullies her lane opponent the same way akali bullies her lane opponents you make sure you always have your q on the enemy laner so if they come to farm you can proc it and deal tons of damage
