Kindred Re-Work idea

When Kindred first came out I was really liking theme of Kindred and their duality but when played in game I felt.... disappointed that wolf didn't really feel like he was part of the duo more of some times I might snip at their feet and some times I lunged at them on for tons of damage. I also didn't like the fact she was jungle champion but that part more of a play style difference. So I thought about how would I rework her (though I will try to keep her in the jungle since thats what her role is now and I'm not sure of Kindred's playerbase feels about Kindred being a jungler or not) and here what I came up with.

Passive- Kindred Marks Champions to hunt for their soul. Each kill on a marked targett claims their soul but gives nothing till you have gathered all 5 souls of the enemy Team. At 5 Souls Kindred gains passive that makes kindred's auto attacks and abilities do missing HP% damage agasint Epic Monster, Champions and Large Monsters. Lamb's bow is also upgraded to have +50 more range and Wolf's Teeth sharpen and give him 30% attack speed and bonus armor pin. When near low enemy champions Lamb switches place with Wolf to finish the hunt. Wolf is melee but moves 50% faster toward low health enemies. If the target regains health to put him out of the threshold then in 15 seconds he will switch with lamb.

Q- Number adjustments for Lamb/Wolf, Leap on to the enemy to chomp down on their neck cause x damage + Bleed damage over time.

W- Lamb changes her stance to gain additional range but slows her by 30%(toggle), Wolf- Wolf goes into frenzy attack, rapidly hitting his target up to 6 times applying on hit effects and can crit if the enemy is still in range for the whole duration.

E-- Lamb throws wolf on to a enemy champion causing fear and DoT damage/ If Wolf is out then lamb will climb on to his back and shoot arrows for 2.5 seconds dealing 1/2 damage from her normal autos attacks. R- Lamb and Wolf re-connect them selves to becoming one again, during this state all abilities are replaced with Reap, where if a target is below 25% HP it will execute them, refreshing the cooldown on Reap. During this ult Kindred becomes equipped with a scythe which larger range then a normal melee attack. Kindred also can't die during this ult but stores all damage taken. At the end of the ult, Kindred will take half damage taken during the ult as true damage.
Passive: If all 5 souls are collected, the duration of the ult is extended by 2 seconds.

Though these are just numbers that come off the top my ahead and maybe some of the abilities can be adjusted to better fit their theme but if you have any suggestions I am open to it.

So I recently played Kindred in an aram. I won't lie I had no idea what I was doing. I do not play Kindred, but I can say that it seemed like I was doing stupid damage. To my knowledge I don't think she is a strong jungle choice right now, but over all I think her kit is fine. I would agree though that wolf does seem to not have much characteristics of the champion. He seems more like just an attached ability. I do like your idea of him transforming into wolf when near low health targets but that DOES feel like you might as well merge lamb and Warwick together. Also your ult idea....we already have a Kayn so the scythe position has been filled. Sorry lol.

Kindred once being the same person isn't real. It's a story humans made as a reason for why there are 2.

So I do feel like it would be neat if wolf had more of an impact. And was there doing something instead of the two abilities he’s a part of. But I feel like the changes you mention would turn her into a Nid/Aatrox/Warwick mix. And be less kindred than she was before. And the ult you suggest is already a part of the game now when you get elder dragon. Rendering it almost useless when elder is snagged for your team.

IMO I don't think her base kit is that bad, but her ultimate is among the worst ultis in the game for solo queue, right down there with Kalista ult IMO. Without a coordinated team its almost impossible to use correctly.

There is some good idea in there!

First The Passive,

I would keep most of your idea, but ''claims their soul but gives nothing till you have gathered all 5 souls'', I do not agree i would make it scale with each souls giving Lamb's bow more range only ,~~ attack speed~~ and bonus armor pen. Can stack as long as she gets champion souls from her passive like it works right now.

Would make the first 5 souls more valuable and the extra souls grant a little bite less.

I Would also give a second part to her passive where she collects souls of the monsters in the jungle like right now that generates over time. ''When reaching 5 souls, Kindred gains passive that makes kindred's auto attacks and abilities do extra missing HP% damage agasint Epic Monster, Champions and Large Monsters.'' everything.

In conclusion : 5 Monster Souls for % missing health that you get from the jungle. Infinite Stack of Champion soul to get attack range.

I would not make her transform into the wolf tho I would keep a transforming melee counterpart for an eventual quinn rework with valor.

Q- the actual Q is fine. don't remember if it applies on hit effect, but it should.

w- ''W- Lamb changes her stance to gain additional range but slows her by 30%(toggle),Place a zone like the actual W but, Wolf appears and become targetable and goes into frenzy attack, rapidly hitting his target up to 6 times applying on hit effects and can crit if the enemy is still in range for the whole duration. '' The wolf cant go outside the zone.Upon reaching 0 health or when W effects end, the wolf returns to kindred. If wolf dies early, Kindred still keep the extra range while in the zone.

Would had a passive effect to the ability where wolf is granted a basic attack for 30% of kindread damage every 5 hit and Heals Kindread for X health scaling with levels to help her jungler.

E-- ''Lamb throws wolf on to a enemy champion causing fear and DoT damage'' Would make that a skill shot, wolf dash to the target, if it hits the wolf bites the target applying a Bleed (dot effect) and a fear.

If Wolf is out then lamb will climb on to his back and shoot arrows for 2.5 seconds dealing 1/2 damage from her normal autos attacks. If wolf is out from her w, than the skill shot is cast from the wolf location instead of you.

R- Lamb and Wolf re-connect them selves to becoming one again, during this state all abilities are replaced with Reap, where if a target is below 25% HP it will execute them, refreshing the cooldown on Reap~~~~. During this ult Kindred becomes equipped with a scythe which larger range then a normal melee attack. Kindred can't die during this ult but stores all damage taken. At the end of the ult, Kindred will take half damage taken during the ult as true damage. Heals herself and ally nearby for X% of damage taken for a Minimum of X damage. + X% healing for each souls collected.

Which would read : Lamb and Wolf re-connect themselves and become one again, during this state, Kindred can't die and stores all damage taken. At the end of the ult, Kindred Heals herself and ally nearby for X% of damage taken for a Minimum of X damage. + X% healing for each souls collected. While in ult, The Extra range per soul is double. Kindred can reactivate her ult to end it earlier to heal ally for example.

Her E and W cant be the same while in ult obviously and would have to be rethink.

My idea would be this.

W. Toggle, root kindred in place to grant her X extra range, scale with ult level.

E. Skillshot that marks an ennemy target. The Mark target receive X% more damage from Kindred. If the target dies within the next X second, grants kindred an extra soul.

I would not give kindred an execute, the game is already overload with damage. and execute shit.
