An overhaul of armor penetration items.

Dirk Line

An item line that provides raw damage and armor pen.

Suited for AD champions who want to burst down squishies, but because they don't provide anything else they're not very strong against tankier foes.

item 3134 Serrated Dirk item 1036 + 350 g (700 total) 10 attack damage 6 armor penetration

item 3170 Moonblade item 3134 + item 1038 + 300 g (2300 total) 50 attack damage 14 armor penetration

item 3147 Duskblade of Draktharr item 3170 +1200 g (3500 total) 80 attack damage 22 armor penatration

Whisper Line

Active items that render a target vulnerable. Excellent for taking out tanky targets, but you can't always have this effect on somebody else.

The actives are certainly useful, but the actual combat stats granted by the items are sub-par compared to other options, so buying one of these to deal with tanky prey is challenging.

The base Whisper item can be upgraded into two brances. Lord Dominik's has greater sticking power, while Mortal Reminder makes healing impossible.

item 3035 Last Whisper item 1036 + item 3801 +200 (1200 total) 10 attack damage 200 HP +50% base HP regen UNIQUE Active - Expose: Reduce the armor of a target enemy by the greater value between 10 and 10% for 6 seconds. 700 cast range, 12 second CD.

item 3036 Lord Dominik's Regards item 3035 + item 1037 + 225 g (2300 total) 40 attack damage 200 HP +50% base HP regen UNIQUE Active - Expose: Reduce the armor of a target enemy by the greater value between 10 and 25% for 6 seconds, revealing them if not stealthed and granting yourself 25% movement speed in their direction for the duration. 700 cast range, 12 second CD.

item 3033 Mortal Reminder item 3035 + item 3123 + 300 g (2300 total) 40 attack damage 200 HP +50% base HP regen UNIQUE Active - Expose: Reduce the armor of a target enemy by the greater value between 10 and 25% for seconds, nullifying any healing on the target for the duration.

Black Cleaver

A heavy axe used for executions.

No longer just grants passive penetration. In exchange for that and its CDR, its gotten its price tag lowered a bit and now grants an active ability that helps you finish off foes and stops them from fleeing.

item 3044 + item 1037 + 625 g (2750 total) 40 attack damage 400 HP UNIQUE Passive - Rage: Gain 20 movement speed for 2 seconds upon dealing damage. Gain 60 movement speed for 6 seconds upon scoring a kill. UNIQUE Active - Hamstring: Your next basic attack will deal 20% bonus damage (does not reset AA timer). For every 1% HP the target is missing, 1% of the attacks damage will ignore their armor. If used by a melee champion, Hamstring applies a 0.5% slow for every 1% HP the target is missing after the damage is dealt. 24 second CD.

Old Dirk Items

None of these are armor pen items anymore.

Youmuu's has gone back to its roots as an attack speed item of sorts, though this version wouldn't be used by most ADC's.

EoN has been shifted to better defensive stats, and its active now helps you sneak up on people and sustain.

Lifeline is back. Honestly, I think it might be a good idea to make this thing build into GA.

item 3142 Youmuu's Ghostblade item 1037 + item 1051 +item 1036 +775 g (2400 total) 40 attack damage 15% critical strike chance UNIQUE Passive - Phantom Strike: Every 7 seconds, your next basic attack strikes twice. For ranged champions, this attack deals half damage. For melee champions, triggering Phantom Strike increases your movement speed by 30 for 2 seconds.

item 3814 Edge of Night item 3211 + item 3133 + 500 (2800 total) 20 attack damage 275 Health 35 magic resist +10% CDR UNIQUE Active - Fade: Become camouflaged for up to 16 seconds (800 detection range), gaining 200% base HP regen for the duration. Enemies in the vicinity are notified. 30 second CD.

item 4003 Lifeline 1500 g 30 attack damage UNIQUE Active - Return: Mark the ground beneath you. Reactivate to return to that location. Minimum of 4 seconds reactivation time, maximum of 6 seconds. 30 second CD.

30 sec cd on an item that transports you while giving you ad ?

Yes, and?

It's an "abort mission" button with pretty meh stats that costs 1500 gold.

It's long enough that it doesn't get used more than once per fight, and it doesn't need to be any longer. It's simply not powerful enough to warrant giving it a prohibitively long CD.

there is enough mobility in the game already

dont think we need to increase it
