Plants, Flash, and The Game

Hey guys, just a quick post I wanted to do Just for discussion, which means this is just a speculation thread, and I am NOT asking for flash to be removed.

Anyways, as Riot has decided to add the Plants into the game, with the Blast Pods specifically, what if Flash was removed? I would speculate that diversity would open up in the Summoner Spells section, and that people would have to learn how to kite and position correctly, instead of using Flash as a crutch incase something goes wrong.

It could be argued that Mobility will be king once more, but people would also become better players through prediction in the FoW and such, allowing for better gameplay IMO.

Just my thoughts, hope to hear yours and discuss with you ^.^

There are a ton of champs that use flash as an integral part of their kit, not just for escaping. It would be cool if wasn't near mandatory, but there would need to be some re-balancing if they took it out.

I do agree that some champs use Flash as a mandatory part, not only for engaging but also kiting. With the addition of item 3152 , I believe that some of the champion pool could be negated, as that has a built-In dash for champions like Galio and Nunu , who desperately wanna get into the middle of a teamfight for their ults to land well.

I also believe protobelt is a nice item for most AP champs who want mobility, and for those who want to kite and are AD and such, summoner 6 and summoner 7 can help people kite around, and item 3069 will be valued a bit more I would think.

Mobility is so valuable that if you remove flash I think the next-best mobility summoner will just become mandatory. Remove flash and everyone will just take ghost.
