Out of all the seasons...the community decided they'd be hypocrites in season 6

I've had the displeasure of playing league of diversity since late 2010 or 2011 and have endured a lot with this community. But this season is where you people decided to be total hypocrites. I want diversity and you people say you want diversity but every action you guys take goes against that (and I'm guilty of it too a little).

The other day I decide to play sejuani mid and bard top because I'm bored of the over picked champions. The first thing someone says to me is "are you trolling?" and throughout the game, despite me not feeding and actually doing fine, they still blame everything on me because I picked something not meta.

If you people want diversity, stop blaming your loses or your sub-par performances on someone trying to spark some excitement in this game and embrace the fact that someone is trying to change shit up.

Oh it's always been like that... Just don't mind them, as long as you don't ACTUALLY deserve to be blamed (like feeding intentionally or actually trolling/flaming). People tend to blame others even when they play meta champs so some non-meta ones are easy targets. I played nunu support 2 days ago I think: my team on ts thought I was trolling, I actually did a pretty fine job, stole a dragon and played pretty good for a chill normal game... still I was trolling for them and I repeat: we were on ts xD.

Bro thats always happened... I was Sol top in a normal game, went ad KICKED ass... I mean destroyed them... guess what got a 5 game chat restrict because the 4 man GROUP with the same tag reported me because one of the guys couldn't stop talking and dying blaming me for breaking meta and tilting him

You misunderstand what the community wants. The community wants Riot to make multiple champions viable and decent in a multitude of roles rather than just making it to where if someone on your team picks Sejuani, you just simply have a higher chance of losing because they arent playing something meta.

People dont want you to pick Sejuani top because the chances of you getting fed and carrying the game are lower than something like Poppy. People want to be able to pick Sejuani top and get more consistency. Youre not proving people are hypocrates, youre just playing troll picks and thinking youre changing anything.

Implying the LoL community isn't always toxic as hell and self-contradictory.

I know there's two other posts in this 20 minute old thread saying what I'm saying here, but this is a good tl dr.

AKA people want to blame AurelionSol support pick because reasons. Oh wait they think its meta now that people have youtubed it, even though nobody knows what lane he should be in since it is a new champion.

I just feel like an adult in LoL now since I finally got to a strategy before some pro sounded off to it. Trying to bank on something just as fast as hearthstone's meta is a pain. Just to feel enough to be knowledgeable enough about the game to really speculate takes so much effort.

Anyway, this is kind of the time for innovation. Unfortunately the learning curve for optimization for returning players can be kind of rough. So there's a long road of pain and suffering until you get used to laning against all the keystones. The meta is -way- more flexible up until high elo/ pro stuff, it really shouldn't be an example of overall gameplay.
