What about AP Kog, Corki, Blitzcrank and others RITO?

So what i want to ask is, where is the role diversity?

It has always been a part of Riots agenda, that Champions shouldn´t be bound to one Role/Lane but should rather have multiple options. Remember when Phreak showed Karthus as a jungler?

With time this has imo changed alot. I used to love playing stuff like Kog and Corki as AP´s, even tho it was busted most of the time, AP Yi was giving a pretty 1 dimensional champ another option, same with AP Tryndamere. I guess if you would look into this deeper, you would find alot more examples.

For me that diversity in options what i want to play made alot of the fun of the game and i hope that Riot will get back to that agenda and will make role diversity a bigger thing than it currently is.

PS: Make Yorick a decent jungler pls, like give him 2 ghouls if he starts with smite.

AP Blitzcrank is perhaps as valid as it ever was. I mean, it never did happen to be his go-to build. It's not his strongest build right now either, mainly because Support items have changed over the last years to give more value for less gold, but it's still viable, especially with the more diversity in AP itemization introduced recently.

As for Kog and Corki, crit / on-hit builds are just infinitely superior to AP ones right now (I quite literally am playing on-hit LB mid recently. Shit's working really well). We just have to wait for the item changes, and hopefully see a meta shift after them.

While it's fine to have build diversity -- it becomes less fine when those builds are unhealthy/unfun to play against or they cause the champion to receive nerfs that ruin their core role.

You can't have champions be viable everywhere and with multiple builds, because then it creates a chaos where you can pick anyone anywhere and then you can't counter pick, can't counter build etc. Imagine if someone picks a Kogmaw, then he takes it to mid lane and goes full AP. Having the option to play him in that way makes it so that I can't prepare to play against it. You need one good main game play that I know what it is about, and then you can have sub-optimal ones, where even if I can't prepare for, at least they won't be strong enough to auto lost the game for me.
