Dear Riot, loosing something feels way worse than getting something.
In the same way nerfs feels worse for the players that get hit, than it feels good for everyone else. But that doesn´t make it better to just Buff everything to the top, that way you just get powercreep, which happens in almost every game in all genres to make it interesting. In the long run, that just doesn´t rly work out. I believe that an assasine should be able to oneshot a squishy target if he is ahead, otherwise it´s just not fun to play. But on the other hand an assasine who is just slightly ahead shouldn´t be able to oneshot everyone, as that feels way worse for the players who play against that, than it feels good for the one doing it.
I have a rather drastic suggestion to bring the dmg down and the overall game experience up. Instead of - in the pre Season - changing the map/items, make a big balance patch in which you nerf nearly every champ. I know that that is easier said than done, but I believe you can do that. To support that Idea promote the PBE to get more people testing the changes.
At the end i want to say, that I believe that weekly nerfs/buffs to champs are not a problem, but monthly changes to the map/items are. If a single champ get´s nerfed/buffed you immediatly see the impact it has and can change it if needed(probably shouldn´t have buffed kindred that much). Item or map changes take some time to get used to. It changes the whole game more than a champion change can. Sometimes it takes weeks or months for people to find out new stuff.
Hope my english isn´t to bad and I would like to hear some Opinions on this topic.
