Dominion and rotating Game Modes

So Riot,

I never played alot of Dominion but from time to time it was a very fun and refreshing experience. I never really understood why it got removed in the first place, as it is IMO just like TTL, not alot of players but it has a fan base.

So my idea is to bring Dominion back as the main rotating game mode and switch it with the "real" rotating game modes. For me it is also not understandable why the random game modes aren´t more active than inactive. In Hearthstone foe example the Tavern brawl brings that little bit of a fresh experience every week even if the modes do repeat it is nice to have some varience.

Also now that so many people keep complaing having some "off-time" from the normal games could help the game alot.

According to Riot, TT's playerbase is/was larger than Dominion's, and the map itself is easier to maintain due to being much more similar to Summoner's Rift.

For an unofficial reason, Dominion needed more dev resources than Treeline to continue existing. Treeline isn't really fine per se, but it manages to persist as a faster-paced competitive option. Meanwhile, Dominion suffered from an identity crisis, being a competitive game mode solely available through a casual queue. For Dom to continue along, Riot would've needed to either create a competitive queue (which requires work) or revamp the mode (which also requires work). Riot chose to retire the queue to revamp the game mode. Unfortunately, that in turn resulted in the disaster that was Definitely Not Dominion, and Riot's seemingly dropped Dominion's concept entirely.
