Stop Smurfing Already
I don't understand the whole point of creating a whole new account just to play ranked with people who are nowhere near your experience level. The new loading border tells it all. The level 31 player with 0 mastery points on Yi. 0?? I know he's easy but if you were to tell me you never played a champion before ever going into ranked, I would laugh.
I see it so often now even on some of my own teams and I hate it. I wonder how anyone really expects people who are actually stuck in lower ranks or newer to the game to move up if they are going against players with much more experience than them each time.
You can make all the stupid arguments you want but the point and fact remains that those who have experience and are at a higher ranked on one account are there for a reason: to play with other people at THEIR skill level and mmr.
I want to hear from a smurf why they do it. And not the excuse "to play ranked with a new friend" because there is also normal drafts that you can play and coach your friend until they are ready themselves. Stop carrying and boosting because it creates a horrible environment for everyone else who actually are trying, and not to say it spawns your teammates to say whatever toxic thing they want when the smurf makes you feed triple times over and there really is nothing you can do about it. Stop praising youtubers and streamers who do their cute little "DIAMOND TOP IN BRONZE ELO! LOOK AT THEIR MISTAKES" No crap they make mistakes, probably dumb ones too in the eyes of that high elo player but they aren't going to learn from suffering and laning against them. If they are going to make a coaching video about what NOT to do in lower ranks, they can do that perfectly fine on their main account vs other people who also know what to do. These strategies only place them as another smurf and ruining the game.
High ranked players doing the good old "Unranked to Diamond" or the "From the depths of Bronze to Challenger" are abusers of this just with the rest of smurfs. They are playing with new players and the inexperienced!
I wish Riot could crack down on smurfing in Ranked. Why...just what is the purpose I really want to know.
