Titanic Vs. Ravenous
Why does one active work with out a target, but the other require that you auto? Why not must make them both on auto or on activate?

why does tiamat go from circle to cone either make tiamat cone and let it upgrade to circle or give titanic a circle
But titanic has larger AOE? It's better than ravenous if we're just looking at the AOE. It's an upgrade.
it did get a longer length but its no where near equal to the rest of the circle from ravenous
They both build off a Tiamat, but the other items each build off of are completely different.
The Hydra at the end is like the child per se. Unique but still with similar defining characteristics
One for bruisers, (burst damage with high sustain aka Titanic) one for melee DPS (constant damage aka Ravenous)
Hope this clears it up.
Because there different items? I don't see why they have to be the same....
they dont but when you have one that is clearly stronger then choice becomes more limited
Which one is better

Which one is better
Titanic is better on bruisers.
Ravenous is good on... Riven and Wu. That's pretty much it.
Don't forget Talon. I don't think I've seen one build Titanic yet, at least I hpe not

Which one is better
Titanic for Bruisers.

Ravenous for Assassins and AD Casters.

Mostly because Ravenous Hydra does damage in a circle which has a center but no direction, and Titanic Hydra does damage in a cone which has a center and a direction. Also, so that you can't poke with Titanic Hydra.
But you can still poke through minions with it just like Vi E.
Exactly. But you have to AA first, instead of targeting ground.
not that you cant its just that much harder and less effective early game
