A simple fix to nexus blitz that could improve the fun aspect of the gamemode.

Remove rift herald. As a game mode that supposed to be a very fun, quick and easy game mode where you could practice champion and laugh your ass off. I think that this objective makes the game less fun. This not only gives you a herald to spawn but also a mini baron buff. Whoever gets this thing basically wins the game and I think it ruins its fun and I'd rather see it gone. Or at least remove the minion buff. I think as a game that isn't too focused on objectives, the deciding factor of the game shouldn't be an objective. Since this is always used by the winning team.

Agreed completely, since there are so few towers and they crumble so easily.

I'd be happier if it was that spider thing from 3v3, just a nice team buff and that's it, not the guaranteed tower slayer crab that comes along with it.

Vilemaw actually grants Baron buffed minions as well and they also fear any minions they come in contact with.

Vilmaw is worse than baron. For starters, it fears minions and they're also tankier and much stronger than the baron minions. If anything were to be its replacement Id like to maybe an Elder drake that increases and betters prizes that your team wins, or it improves the ones you have.

"...as a game that isn't focused on objectives..." Are we playing the same game here? Nexus Blitz is nothing but objective based gameplay. Every event introduces a new objective to win to snowball your team.

That said, I agree, the herald's removal would help the mode out. Probably better off to replace it with a dragon of some kind.

I mean towers, Buffs, etc. I don't mean the rewards going from events. And I don't consider those objectives considering your killing someone instead of destroying a structure/monster

They're all objectives, it doesn't matter that one may be to kill something, push a cart, nuke a tower, etc.

Games in Nexus Blitz are usually stomps like 20-40. I don't think it's because of the herald; it could be a relevant snowball element, but not the main reason for all these bad games.

In addition to that, I would love the jgl going back to the first version too, with this one if you are at the bottom of the map and the duo ignore that part, you really feel alone (where in the other you just had a bush to pass for everyone to help each other)

they also need to make duel/urf not the first event, it snowball to hard from poeple having level 6 or not

Imo, nexus blitz in it's current state is far from being a mode that can stay forever

I don't think that's what it's meant to be though. The gamemode is supposed to be what you said, fun and quick gamemode, where snowball is the main name of the game.
