Why can't bronze support?

I like to play support and I'm bronze 1 but I see so many supports ks all the time on purpose or leave their lane and leave the adc helpless. I don't understand why they don't do what they're supposed to do...support! I always ask my adc what support they want, who to ban if I can, how we're gonna play (aggro or defensive) and peel for them, even when the mid and jungle come bot I usually find a way to let the adc live even if I have to die but other supports usually just flash away and let their adc die because they feel more important. Idk just a rant really but people really need to learn to support, I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to be an adc main in bronze

Because it is impossible to learn to play this game in any other way aside from playing

Bronze is basically newbie tier. That means if you're in that rank, it's because you literally don't know any better.

And on a more personal note, Support is a thankless fucking position. When it works, nobody acknowledges, when it doesn't work, everything is your fault.

Noob nami didnt ward report ff!

I'll get right on that warding once I'm sure I won't die from going out alone in the river, something else i'll get yelled at for.

I've got 25 CS all game dude, i'm not going to stand back and do nothing while our turrets get pounded on.

if I'm actually able to land a kill with my awful damage output, slow AA time, and utility spells, well, what do you want me to do, NOT help in team fights? NOT secure kills?

I feel you, never get acknowledged as a support even as Bard landing all my stuns, or eating Draven as TahmKench tanking Jinx ult, ultimately sacrificing myself but setting up Draven for the double kill, I did that one game and got yelled at later for warding while they were drag and got caught out, even though I got Draven super fed, support is fun but I wish people realize how good a support can really be

If this is norms, you can't expect too much until you get out of bronze, but in ranked people should be playing better than that.

Yeah, that's why you should probably find a duo if you main either bot lane role in bronze. You usually can't rely on most supports in that elo.

Well... my PERSONAL Bronze experience is that you have about a 50/50 chance of your ADC being un-supportable. This is the reason I started using "non-Traditional" supports, like DrMundo and Sion (though he's been more popular lately) If I get a potato ADC, I can roam and still be useful.

It works the other way too, where you get farming/KS supports like you mentioned.... The WORST player I've ever been matched with was a Silver Morgana special kinda special to build two item 2049 and NOT PLACE ONE ward for 15 mins.... Not to mention never landing one Q on a champ and not using W or E ONCE in the whole lane...
