Is riot opposed to kha'zix making a comeback in midlane?

because he's gaining a lot of traction there, his match ups aren't bad ever since thunderlords was added, he has decent trading pre 6, good roam potential, good safety pre 6 and extreme safety post 6.

Tiamat changes made it even easier on him, and ofc hexdrinker and maw are both fantastic right now.

scarra's been spamming it a lot with fairly good success, I think it's on its way, he did say, however, that his potential is capped by how good you are with him, he isn't better than other AD mids unless you're really good on him (and he admitted he wasn't yet)

If you haven't tried it, it's good, he's very versatile with how you can build him, (I like CDR capping with intelligence, personally) and he can snowball even harder due to the gold income increase.

I actually saw Kha'zix make a return recently to professional play in one of the Oriental regions(can't remember if it's LCK or LPL...too lazy to look through every VoD), that didn't run Thunderlord's. He ran the one that speeds himself up when he rips away at least 30% of a champion's health. Even got a few "WOLOLOLOLOL!"(to quote Rivington's reaction to a mantis leaping Kha'zix) leapy leafy bug resets with a speed boost. I can see Kha'zix acting like a melee version of Jinx if he assassinates targets, especially using that to get a running start before the leap resets for chase.
