Don't Lucian, Lissandra, and Xerath still adore blue buff? And Caitlyn is rather mana hungry if she wants to poke, and Kennen and Shen have high energy costs, so it's really not a bad thing to give them either.

I don't know many champs that can't use blue buff. But they don't need it. And they don't get nearly as much out of it as other mids.

I was anivia mid

And we had a nunu jungle

I never got a blue or asked for one

Why?

I run a full mana regen rune page

I won lane hard ending laning with 50 more CS and being 1/0/3 (nunu ganked to take the kills but o/w)

Ended the game with more kills and assists with still having 0 deaths

It's all about who your mid is, ps I main support

As an Anivia player (or midlane overall) never expect to get the blue, just play by yourself and i always win with Anivia, also i dont recomend mana regen runes... i dont have problems once i get Tear and Catalyst riot buffed her mana costs a lot

With a full mana regen page the only mana item I need to make is RoA, resulting in more damage item late game

I get to bypass buying tear because of it and I end up with more AP mid game and that results in more early snowballing for a stronger late game

And if I am loosing lane, I can farm with spells more to make sure my tower doesn't fall, and if this is the case I build 2 mana items instead of 1 and I end up being able to spam all day to laugh off siege attempts as the minions won't get to tower

The full mana regen might make my early damage a little lower, but it makes my mid game stronger and laning phase safer, Each tune page has its own perks. I prefer the one that lets me survive lane if I'm losing while still helping me fight with having more mana regen

Ps I use the AP pr lvl Reds because the red mana regen runes are 100% not worth it

Could work, if it works for you is alright, but with RoA and Seraph you get a massive amount of AP, usually my core items are those 2 and Liandry's so i just melt everyone really fast and i take armor and magic resist per level runes, and AP Quints, i can manage o survive early and late im really strong and somewhat tanky with so much health and Seraph shield im not that squishy, but Giant slayer item fuck me pretty hard hahaha.

I main mid. I don't really ask for blue buff. I only take blue buff if I can solo it . But I question some junglers who are manaless (rengar , reksai, etc.) Always take blue buff all game. CD is nice but I mean just give it to your mid lane or even adc lol.

If I'm trying to snowball as Rengar I will GLADLY take blue unless I have a 2/0 lane that can roam on it better than I can.
