I Love Ashe, but I really want her Strengths to Shine!

Ashe is one of my favorite ADC's of all time - but I feel like she needs some minor buffs to fit in the current game. Now before you start whipping out the lashes, I meant that Ashe needs buffs that attain to her true strengths - having more utility than other ADCs. This has always been Ashe's strong suit but it's usually not prevalent until late game, when her slows and ult changes the battlefield drastically in the midst of team fights. These suggestions are to help Ashe shine in utility, rather than damage.

I always wish Ashe had some utility that could be used throughout the game other than Hawkshot - but then I realized what if Hawkshot did more than just provide vision? So as for Hawkshot, here's what I thought of:

  • Hawkshot reveals all wards at the destination location and disables them. I thought this could definitely help Ashe early and mid-game; when she needs to itemize and wants to mitigate ganks.

I also know that Ashe's volley is great for applying her slows but because her shots don't actually penetrate through the enemy and it can be frustrating trying to poke enemies...

  • Volley pierces through enemies. Only enemies in front take damage and slows but the enemies behind those targets take reduced damage and receive no slow.

Let me know what you guys think:3 I think Ashe could thrive off of these changes!

Her Volley could definitely use some looking at considering how many other ADCs have ways of dealing damage through several targets in a line. Sure she can spread it out way farther, but in closed spaces it's basically useless. It shouldn't be able to hit more than once on the same person, because that'd just make her broken like she used to be, but allowing it to pass through at the expense of reduced damage would be cool.

As for the Hawkshot, I wouldn't really agree there. It seeing wards and disabling them just seems a bit unecessary. It's already granting more vision of the map than almost any other ability can. It doesn't need more than that and it's gold gen passive.

The Hawkshot idea is not needed at all, if that were the case... item 3364 Oracles Lens would not even be needed.

I however like your volley idea.

Maybe perhaps for the hawkshot... allow her to gain a minor movement speed buff? In order to encourage players to utilize her map control more? (it's what came to mind first)
