Assassin types are slowly being weeded out and swapped out for late game champs, and basically it has become whichever team gets a slight lead early and gets that HP going is going to win the game with little to no chance of coming back. Assassin meta was fun at least they had a chance to completely turn a game on its head by deleting a carry real quick in that crucial team fight. Now it's like watching Kevin Sorbo from Hercules and Russell Crowe from Gladiator having a pillow fight and waiting to see who wins.

The only real chance to have a comeback is if their team is mostly early game champs and they fall off, but if they get too far ahead you might still be in trouble.

Yes but now they don't work as easy as they do because strategy picks call for creating a team that work around an assassin that works in the meta

Honestly I don't hate assassins. But I HATE it when I have to deal with multiple assassins on the same team. I can usually tank one assassin, but tanking multiple assassins isn't easy.

You do realize that the assassin can still delete squishies, but now has to get past the frontline to do so...? It's all about positioning, timing, and teamwork.

Just because you can't delete a tank doesn't mean you can't play an assassin.

No. That was not fun. That was literally the least fun thing in the entire game. Watching your carry get killed so quickly you dont even get a chance to react is NOT fun.
