Would a grounding field fix J4's ult or break it?

We have a grounding field on Cass's W to prevent all movement abilities in the area.

Would making Cataclysm create a grounding field inside of it be a way of fixing it without going over the top? I feel like when I see Jarvin used now his ult is used as a nuke more than as an awesome blocking/death zone tool.

I think there are many ways you could tune it if it were applied. Possibilities including lowering the damage or making it ground everyone, not just enemies. That way Jarvin could truly help everyone.

Break it. As would adding it to most other things people suggest (like Singed's slow pool)

Most definitely break it, as in he would need heavy nerfs in other areas to compensate. It'd be almost like a 3.5 second root as a point and click spell - that'd spell certain death for anything remotely squishy daring to exist within half screen of Jarvan while his ult is up.

Flag n' Drag usually burns a mobility ability from most champs. Then you cataclysm and thier only option is Flash.

Grounded 'cc' shouldn't be available to other champions, you'd completely devalue Cassiopeia's identity if any other champion had access to this unique ability. It's only reasonable if an immobile short ranged mage like her has access to it, anyone else with access to gapclosers (like J4 in this case) would completely break it.
