LOL every new champion fucks zed

Zed? How does Jhin or Sol counter Zed? Neither of them can do much against any gap closer fighter/assassins, with Jhin only barely being able to escape with his life if he is majorly ahead. And that is only if Jhin is able to one/two shot Zed at that point of the game. And Taric's ult will only save them if it is pressed up to 2 seconds before or within .5 seconds after Zed uses his ult. And if Zed decides to ult in on a person that is about to be turned intangible, he deserves to be countered purely for terrible decision making, while if the Taric has the reactions to activate his ult within .5 seconds(even .51 seconds off would allow the target to take damage/die) I think he deserves to have saved his ally.

Taric's ult is offensive intangibility. While Kayle's/Kindreds ult is meant to be a reactive, red panic button "push to save", that can be pre-planned, Taric's needs to be pre-planned as part of an assault to be most effective, or has to be predicted correctly to be a execute ult protection.

The only thing that I can see as being a direct counter to Zed is Taric's armor scaling, which would wreck havoc on Zed's damage...
