So I got to Diamond 5 in pre-season and it says that nobody else is in my division?
Anybody understand what's going on with the divisions?

A lot of boosted animals got to the same rank and now ranked is the wildwild west while things get rebalanced
The reason for this is because dynamic queue is more balanced but its balanced for the real world not sissies who play soloqueue and pretend that anything below the best of the best is good enough somehow.

Leagues can only have so many people, and it generates new ones as more people rank up a tier. It will get filled out eventually.
